GIGANOTOSAURUS

GIGANOTOSAURUS:

                                       GIGANOTOSAURUS whose name means "giant southern reptile " was not discovered until 1994. After that only Ruben Corolini an auto mechanic who hunts dinosaur's bones in their free time has found the Giganotosaurus bones. The Giganotosaurus lived  around 95- 100 million years ago


Until the Giganotosaurus was discovered T-rex was thought to be the longest meat-eating Dinosaur. Giganotosaurus has the biggest skull than the T-rex.

It weighs up to 14 tons, where the T-rex weight is only 9 tons.

APPEARANCE OF GIGANOTOSAURUS:

As said before Giganotosaurus is one of the largest meat-eating dinosaurs. 
Its length is up to 40 to 46 feet long.
Its height is up to 23 feet.
Its weight is up to 9 to 14 tons.
It survived mostly on large Herbivore dinosaur.
Its head was larger than T-rex but it has a very small brain when compared to T-rex.
Its daggerlike 8-inch teeth were short and narrow with serrated edges.
It could run an estimated 50 kph.


As per the intelligence, T-rex is considered as one of the smartest dinosaurs when compared to Giganotosaurus.
In my opinion, Lion is not the tallest animal, not the biggest animal, but still, it's the king of the forest. Likewise, the T-rex does retain the title of King of Dinosaur. however, the Giganotosaurus sure put up a great fight while comparing with T-rex.
